Business Networking Event at Blumz by JRDesigns

Every three or four months I put on a Business Networking Luncheon for Event Professionals. This month it was at Blumz by JRDesigns in Ferndale. Here is what Bonnie Daws, from Bonnie Daws Bridal Designs had to say
"Hi Andrea, Yesterday's networking luncheon was the best ever. The food was outstanding and the parking was better than in the past. We especially enjoyed looking around the front area at Blumz [on our way out] and marveled at all the artificial flowers. Pat and I attend to return with bulging wallets so we can gather some goodies for our home decor."

Here I am with a cake by Jean Marie Moffa from Great Cakes out of Brighton. Delicious right to the last bite. She uses nothing but the finest ingredients and after meeting with you, creates the cake of your dreams.

Thank you to Chef Kevin and Chef Tom from Quarton Woodward Catering for their spectacular lunch. Their chopped bibb lettuce with bleu cheese was served on beautiful white curved plates from Perry's Tents and Events and a menu by Festivities complimented the table setting.

Robbin, co-owner of Blumz by JRDesigns gave a very informative talk on colors and trends for the 2011 season. A video was taken by Mike Hartman from Royal Oak Creative to capture Robbins demonstration. The painting to the left of Robbin is from Painting with a Twist on Nine Mile in Ferndale. It is a fun place you can take your friends, a bottle of wine some food and they instruct you on how to paint and finish a painting in one time session. Very fun.

Many friends and colleagues joined me on April 13, 2011 at Blumz by JRDesigns and found out that they are so much more then a florist shop. They have this great space for rent for showers, small weddings or parties of any kind. They also have a full line of tuxedos to rent! Who knew? Well you do now. Many pictures were captured during the afternoon by Bryan from Bryan Mac Photography.

Need a magician, ice cream or flowers? Look no further, that's Gordon Ross, magician, Scott
Moloney from Treat Dreams, Carol Jackson from Blumz and Harold from California and Michigan for your decorating needs.

Have you ever had a macaron? Well I bet you never had a french macaron. Madeleines French Patisserie macarons do not contain flour or coconut. They are meringue-based made from a mixture of egg whites, almond flour, and both granulated and confectionery sugar. All chocolate used in the macarons is from Schakolad. Find them at Schakolad in Birmingham.

Kris from Artcasters, paints a picture on canvas of your party, during your party and you take it home at the end of your party. Great gift for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, or corporate. Here he presents Robbin with the painting he did.
